Fun Fact!
My blogs are usually proofread by my mom who is an English teacher. But for the first time, I’m relying entirely on a combination of artificial intelligence, computer algorithms and machine learning for the whole proofreading process. The more the people use it the better it gets. More info on the bottom.
Intro.
Firstly, if you found the title discouraging, I apologize. It’s a bit of a clickbait to be honest. But trust me with this, you will learn to get started from the content below.
We all know the so-called wannabe-ies. Planning and then not working it out is one of the many things they share. Almost all of them don’t want to be in that category and the majority aren’t even aware. I’ve personally (and unknowingly) been part of it a while ago and still sometimes go back. Though I’m not telepathic enough to guess what type you are, I can give a solid guess that you have been to their party at some point.

The simple difference between person A who gets started and the person B who doesn’t is you see person A gaining more experiences and achieving while B takes his time searching for the perfect time. Don’t get me wrong, some things really need to be out at the right time, especially the case with business decisions. But even to get the right thing at the right time you need to get started way ahead of the time. Or you will end up being the Kodak of the digital camera world.
Reasons.
The majority of the people doesn’t get going because of the lack of confidence, caring about social opinion and procrastination. Although they are the main reasons, this pie chart has a pretty big slice called other as well. And it almost entirely depends on the person’s personality and the sort of environment he lives in.
Reasons for the lack of confidence lies inside you, it means you have an underestimated view about yourself despite how genius (or not) your idea is.
Talking about social opinion, sometimes it’s hard to cope with it. You’ll just plummet at the beginning itself if you take all of them into your personal consideration. So you need to evolve with the criticism or whatever the social opinion while cherry-picking the advice in them and in a few weeks you’ll be viewing them as normal.

Procrastination is common but can turn down the success rate right away. It’s the feeling of wanting to delay things. Which will make you end up with a lot of pressure once the clock runs out.
What should be changed?
Building confidence cannot be done overnight, it takes time and some serious effort. It’s something that you can do yourself and the way to build it depends on the person, so it’ll leave the experimenting to you. Just trust what you do, that will help.
To deal with whatever the social opinion, just stop giving a damn about what others think about you and your work. You never have to worry as long as you are confident about what you are up to. So looks like having confidence works for everything right? Yes, pretty much.
Procrastination happens like a habit, so you need habit building to get rid of that as well. Building routines always help as well. My personal way out is with gratitude meditation. It works because you are procrastinating because whatever you gotta do doesn’t excite you. And meditating to something that inspires gratitude allows the small, less exciting things to feel and appear much interesting to the brain. Click here to view my personal favorite for meditation. These three changes will also have a somewhat significant impact on your attitude.
Why you should get started?
Once you have a great idea and passion for something what’s worse than not getting started? Because in today’s world getting started is easier than ever because of technology. If you personally know me, you know I’ve been doing all sorts of creative stuff before I started blogging. I’ve done vlogging, photography, podcasting, designed graphics, devices and even cars, done music covers, vocal covers, started small startups and more.

Fast forward to this day although I have discontinued many of them, I don’t think that the time went away uselessly. All that were unsuccessful or I lost interest and chose to stop, brought experience and added value to my life in one way or another.
And the ones that I kept working on like this very blog did really pay off. So according to statistics, it attracts viewers from all around the world and has a significant view to come back ratio. While I’m thankful to you guys for that, I’d like to point out that it’s both me and you guys who are being benefited from this blog.
That’s the reason why you should stop procrastinating, start off and see your idea take root. It may fail or succeed, but both are beneficial for you and others. And if all the good and positive ideas come together, then the world would be a much better place and improvement and encouragement will be everywhere.
